Been looking for a way to quit replacing my upper ca bushing and came across this.

It just doesn't say it's for a WJ or ZJ for that matter. Will it still work?

I would measure the OD of your current bushing and see if it's in spec with this JJ replacement but if I were to guess, I would say that it is a match.

This should help a bit. Don't have this axle anymore, but from what I wrote, the linked flex joint you posted was a direct fit for the housing joint. The tube side joint is also fairly easy, and an upgrade worth considering to have 2 flex joints instead of a mix-match. I apologize in advance for the obscene sized photos...

I have been looking into this also. The part that I don't understand is why you can't use the currie JJ on both sides? If you replace the bushings, they are always the same part so why wouldn't the JJ be the same on both sides?

No dice. The width of the stock tube bracket is too narrow for the Currie flex joint to be pressed into.

I have IRO LAs so I'll only need one. My lowers have bushings as well and thought about replacing with JJs once they need it, but was worried about noise and such associated.

I thought someone on hete was able tonpress these in. currie ce-9112m...just had to drilll a bigger hole on the arm to fit the bigger bolt.

I'm in a pickle I looked under their and my bushing is completely torn in the middle. No wonder I was feeling a little shimmy. Hope currie is fast with shipping.

I've run the 1/2" bolt version for the axle upper side of my 3 link for a couple of years now. I like it much better than the bushings.

I've worked them into every joint in my suspension as the rubber bushings have needed replacing.

I've got a mix of Curry Johnny joints, Trail Gear Creeper joints, Rubicon Express flex joints, and Ballistic Fab flex joints. I like joints with the threaded side adjusters better. You can adjust preloaded and they're easier to take apart come time for a rebuild. I'm planning to pick up some of the new Barnes4wd flex joints next the I need some. He's local to me and I've heard nothing but good things about them.
