CV joint or Inside Diff

Been having an issue with my 01 WJ for about a year now. Whenever it snows or I'm on the sand dunes i notice a clicking noise in the front axle that fluctuates based on speed. The noise only happens when I'm accelerating while turning hard. Noise does not differ from left turn to right turn but when going straight absolutely no noise. I'm assuming its one of the CV joints but haven't really put too much thought into it as the noise has not gotten any worse over the last year. Wondering if anyone else has any other ideas what it could be or if CV sounds about right.

Thanks

Just did this on our 2001, check the CV joint boots for torn boots. Easy job to change them out. Fairly cheap too. Napa had a reman for $52.
