CV Axle Shaft Repair

The boot on my driver side axle shaft is shot. I have a replacement but i'm not able to fix it for another week. I know it needs to be fixed asap but am I ok driving at highway speeds without anything going majorly wrong for just one week? I drive 20 min to and from work each day.

I have torn boots on both front axle shafts. Have been driving it this way for over a year and no problems but I plan on replacing the whole shaft because of the mileage on my jeep.
