Cruise control not working help !!

Out of no where my cruise control just stopped working. I have not done any work on my truck lately so I have no idea what can cause this. The light is illuminated on my dash so idk what it can be. Does anyone know how to fix this ??

Garage
I'd imagine you have a vacuum leak. Check the hoses and make sure none is cracked/broken.

Check and see if your tail lights are working too. I know on my old Colorado, cruise control went out and it was caused by the brake light switch crapping out. Not 100% sure if that applies to the WJ too, but can't hurt to check.

2004 WJ 4.7L - stock for now

The vacuum unit is under the headlight, not sure which side - mine is RHD.

What engine do you have. On my '04 4.0L my cruise quit working and it was the hose to the intake manifold that came off. Hose connects to the manifold about mid eng on drivers side.

Previous Jeeps: 84 CJ7 (A True Jeep), 2000 XJ (163,000 Miles/Totaled (Pictures of wrecked Jeep in gallery)), 2004 WJ (parting out die to major electrical issues)

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, how do you have time to do it over.

Yeah mine stopped working while driving and then when I shut the car off and turned it back on it worked again. Has anyone ever had this happen?
