Is there a specific reason you bought 8 spring isolators instead of four?

Hey guys, I have a 2 inch BB and hydros and was wondering if anyone thinks that some fresh stock springs and new isolaters would give me anymore lift. Say around maybe half an inch? put my BB on my 99' and im just thinking that these springs have to be sagging a good bit after nearly 12 years. If you find any springs like these let me know!

Have you received your links yet? I could get my links sleeved and extended but I'd rather replace gem with new hardware after 110K of use.

Well, what's your hub-to-fender now?

Just had the isolators and springs done on the WJ. It lifted quite a bit as the originals were shot!

The Monroe Reflex shocks aren't really up to the task and I see what you mean about the rear sway bar linkage issue. I think I'm going to make some 2" drop brackets for the attachment to the body so factory WJ linkages can be used. Also I think a set of the 5100s would really make the ride what I'm looking for.

There's only so much you can do for ride quality when you have solid axles. But yeah, proper sway bar geometry really helps. Re-doing my front RC disconnects (a whole nother story) really helped. And the Bilsteins can't hurt either.

Occasionally, people say they don't like them. They will allow a lot of travel if you are driving with no sway bar at all and their initial response with the 5100s is a little soft. With HDs, the initial response is firmer. With most of the twin tubes, they are firm all the time and that's what some people prefer.

I finally have proper sized endlinks on my sways, and it has made a complete difference in ride quality. factory end links with OME HD springs (about 3" of lift) is a big no-no for ride comfort. so I now have IRO endlinks for 3" front and rear, and addco front and rear sway bars...I do however have 3/4" spacers in the rear (from amermold@bellsouth.net ) because the OME springs are supposed to "level out" the wj, but I felt like I was looking "up" the hood to the road, instead of looking down it. I think it should be a little higher in the rear anyway.

I actually redid the whole front end really...IRO endlinks, addco swaybar, all 4 TRE's (MOOG), new "red" bushings from JKS for the adjustable TB (mine came with the old black ones for some reason, HUGE difference with the new red ones), IRO bar pin elimators, new isolators up top (lowers were done @ install a year ago)...now I just need an alignment, and I'm good to go!
