Chrome exhaust tip

I did a search, but didn't find anything. My '02 Overland had the chrome exhaust tip and I liked the way it looked.
It got totaled in 2007 and I have had an '03 Overland, since then. I'd like to put a chrome exhaust tip on it, but it would have to be clamp on, as I have no access to a welder. Is anyone running with the chrome exhaust tip on anything other than an '02, if so, what do you have? I'd like some suggestions about what to get. I looked at some, but I don't see how they would mount over the crook in the end of my existing tail pipe.

Cut the crook off and clamp on a tip?

Exactly.

I guess I could do that. What should I use, a dremel with a cut-off wheel, or a sawzall with a metal blade?
Not sure a hacksaw would fit all the way under, not even sure the sawzall will, either.

Cut from the bottom up, or the tire side in. Saw-zall or dremel would work but saw-zall would probably be easier

Then what chrome tip would you suggest? I measured and it is a 3" exhaust pipe. So I assume I need 3" inlet to whatever outlet, probably 4 or 5". I am assuming the 3" inlet with have a slit, or cut, so that it will slide on the same size pipe? Then I could clamp it.
When I looked at the tips, I didn't see 3 1/8" or 3 1/4".

Go to an exhaust shop and have them weld one on... When I got my muffler put on they also did a tip. It was $15 for the tip and I think another $20 to weld it on... looks better and much easier!

Sounds like it might be easier to have them cut it and weld it on.thanks. The options are a 3" inlet, but my exhaust pipe is 3 inches, so how do they attach it if they are both 3 inches. Do they put a slit in it, until it is on far enough to weld, or do they use a flaring tool?

I'd think, given that the part is an 'end' piece, that it is just slightly larger than 3, and will just slide right on to be clamped down.

That's what I ordered, I had a $25 Amazon gift card that needed to be used.
I'll have the shop guys do it if I am unable.
