I have a clutch driven fan on a non-HO WJ 4.7L, but I'm throwing codes for the hydraulic fan.

No. Why would you want to? You have the better hydraulic fan setup? Something wrong with it?

Connect the solenoid to the connector and the code will go away.

The hyd fan is a great setup.

It's not great if its broken though.............

Thanks for the suggestion.

The WJ donor I used for the TJ drivetrain swap had front end damage, so most of the hydraulic fan setup was trashed.

The 04 front radiator and fan was upgraded to improve cooling, dont know why you want to downgrade.
Ig you have problems with the cooling something must be wrong.

What about an extra trans cooler, lot of members to That mod to "save" the Transmission.
Or taurus E fan upgrade mod, check them out.

Buy new factory parts and use good coolant if not an additive like redline water wetter.... The hydro fan setup is about as good as it gets without going full custom dual electric fans...
