Long story short I put a new short block last year and put in a new cam sync gear and sensor. Well it seized up yesterday and took the cam with it. Is there anything I should of some different. This is a 350 dollar whoops but I don't think I did anything wrong. I also put in a new oil pump at the same time
Im confused. The tone ring on the RH cam? The one thats integrated to the cam timing sprocket? How can it seize? You mean the cam seized? If your oil pump died and took one cam you've got more than $350 in damages. Hell a mopar oil pump is about $150. What oil pump did you use?
I do all my own work and order from rockauto. The pump seized which made the cam syncro gear gear and stripped the worm gear off the cam. It's also a 4.0
