Brake light not working when headlights on

Hello. I have had this problem but have fixed it by pulling the connector up and it worked fine for a while. Now it is doing the same thing and when I checked the the connector, it was still pulled up. At this point I am thinking the only thing I can do is buy a new tail light, which I don't want to do. Has anyone else had this problem where it has already been fixed, but the light still isn't working? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the brake light works fine when the headlights are off, it's often an earthing fault - try running another earth from the light unit to the body.

Could just be a fuse issue, maybe try swapping out your brake light fuse
