blend door motor?

so i cut the hole out behind the glove box and my blend doors were ok, my problem is the plastic gear that drives the door is cracked where it plugs into the blend door drive.

not sure if this is the proper termonology but the drive motor just keeps spinning due to the crack, can i get a replacement drive gear? or do i replace the whole motor?

Thanks

It's usually referred to as an actuator, and yes you just replace the whole actuator at once. They are pretty cheap. The bad news is that the passenger side airflow motor is located deep in the dash, not accessible from the glove box hole. The one you are looking at controls the driver's side airflow.

yeah, everything thing else works fine, i was actually adjusting the blend door after i rigged the actuator and was trying to match the doors and then the actuator just stopped working completely? weird.

on a side note i was going to be able to calibrate the setting by using the other door as reference and setting the other to the same temp. setting.

cant believe the actuator quit, seems weird. any place to get the actuator?
