Aw, crap!

Well, the Grand Cherokee wants more new parts.




Looks like a brake job is in my near future!

Felt the sucker seize when I pulled into WalMart. Sucked. Sent Kolak a PM, and have been checking what I will be paying to fix this.

shouldnt be too much but I would replace the brake pads on the other side so they match. I think calipers are like 50 bucks. what shape is the rotor in?

You can tell it got hot, LOL. They weren't warped, and as far as I can tell, still aren't.

Tell you this, however.....that V8 makes short work of dragging brakes, hahahaha.

did you hit any puddles or anything with it that hot? or do anything to rapidly cool it. they can take heat pretty well but that rapid heat change is where the warping can happen. normally from water

This happened to me about 2 months ago. Piston seized on the front drivers side and warped the ***** out of the rotor. I replaced the calipers, rotors and pistons and all is now well.
