Another tire thread.

Greetings,

I'm looking to get new tires for my 02' WJ. Stock height, nothing trimmed. What is the max tire size I can get? 225/65 is what I have now. I have searched previous threads, and no true answer has risen.

Please assist?

Thanks.

Thanks.

I'm in the market for tires as well and after lots of searching, this is what I've read on several sites. I'm going with 245-75, but my BB will be here Thursday. :2thumbsup: From what I've read though, the 75s are fine for normal street driving.

MT =mud terrain
AT= all season terrain

if you r not going off roading and want the tiers to last long MT might not be best for you

I go out and play in phases really, it depends where I am. I suppose the ATs would be a better choice.

I guess now I have to make another thread about lifts.. I saw a rusty's lift for ~$375 with shocks and springs. I've been told that id have to replace a whole bunch of other crap too. The lift was 2.5"..

How much rub with 245/75? Like significant?

I just installed the rusty's 2.5" on mine and it rides way better than stock. The hight is pretty right on. Although I hear that the shocks only last a year but that just gives me time to save up for some nicer ones.
