Amsoil Severe Gear and Vari-Lock

Filled my Vari-Lock axles with Amsoil Severe Gear and got some whining from the differentials, so I added the Mopar additive. It seems to have quieted them.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I thought that Amsoil was supposed to be good with the Vari-Lock.

Still need friction modifier, maybe amsoil has a bottle with it and one without, redline sells both.

Recline or royal purple were quite a bit more expensive. Amsoil was $12 per quart since I'm a preferred customer
