After market gauges

I did a google search (from my phone) and got the basic overlay and LED bulb swaps... But I've seen a few guys on here post pictures of sick aftermarket gauge swaps some time ago. Not sure if they were the race glow kit or what, was just curious to see what anyone had.

Just for the hell of it thought I'd see what I could find.

These are the basic gauge clusters that were offered.

These are the only ones that I've been able to find while searching....

I have the second set in the picture above with the control knob. Looks much better after I installed it although is a pain to get everything lined up and not move putting the cover back on. Also cut notches in the plastic so the wires wouldnt pertrude the cover too badly.

I went with the stock electroluminescent ones ('02 version) which cost me only $25. G/F loved them so got a set for hers. The other ones you can find on ebay.

I will tell everyone this, the plasma glow gauges would have required extensive work on my '99 WJ. the plughs for the gauges themselves are too large to fit the the bulb openings on the cluster, meaning cutting and splicing...
I ordered the white faces, and just replaced my LEDs.
Will try to post a pic later to show what it looks like.

Maybe it's like when someone who's missing a limb and they still feel it? It still thinks it's in the car moving right along like nothing is wrong.
