Advice on grease (the lubricant!)

Hi folks,

I'm trying to find out what type of grease I should be using on my ball joints. Unfortunately the internet can list a million and one different types of grease made up of different chemicals, but can't advise me on what's best for the job. Any ideas?

Cheers,

I believe it is NGSL type? Ooh close NLGI grade 2 EP, GC-LB according to http://www.wjjeeps.com/service/knuckle_upper.jpg use WJJeeps.com - Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 1999-2004 for more info. You can find this type of multi-purpose grease in numerous places. Go to any parts store and you should be able to find it.

Isn't red the only color a vehicle should be?
If at first you don't succeed, use more speed.

Yeah, really any lithium based grease will be fine. It just needs to be able to withstand weather conditions.
