Does anyone know if a 97 ZJ Dana 35 rear axle will fit a 99 WJ. Rear is siezing in my 99 & a freind has a 97 he isn't useing. Need this back up ASAP as it is my daily driver.

The width is wrong.

The ZJ axle is narrower than the WJ.

The bracketry is also wrong.

Different animal. ZJ's don't use a rear a-arm at all where the WJ does.

Lug patterns are also different. ZJ=5x4.5, WJ=5x5. You would have to run different wheel patterns front and back, and carry two spares.
