8" inch lift?

I see a few 2"-ers, more 4"-ers and a lot of 6" lifts...

Has anyone gone the route of an 8 inch lift? Like has anyine dine a 6 inch lift and the used spacers in the springs to get an extra 2 more out of them?

Just curious...

IMO its too high for a WJ. Plus it's like opening Pandora's Box and a daunting task! Not only the expense of a really good lift kit (upwards to $3000) plus you would have driveline problems so both axles would need to be replaced w/custom lengths. It would also not look right unless you have 35"+ tires on it (37s really or 40's) that would mean new axles. Would definitely have to atleast do the front with a Rubi 44, and to be done right prob a D60 rear. You would also have to regear both axles. Plus, also tweak/strengthen the steering system.
Can it be done...sure. But just cause you can do something doesn't mean you should.....lol
Probably looking at $8-10k to be done right. And if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Just my 2 cents....lol

I would use Clayton's 8" coils instead of 2" spacers
