4wd light

I have a 2000 GC select trac 4x4. When the transfer case is engaged into 4wd full time or 4wd low, should a green light indicate this on the dash. The only time I have a green light indicating the 4wd is lock in is when I have selected part time 4wd. Is this correct or do I have a malfuntion in the dash? Thanks in advance>

Well I have the Quadra-Trac on my 02 overland, and I never see any light. I would assume that that light would only show up to make sure you know that you're in 4wd part time (and you're not supposed to stay in it for long)

The light on the dash is only supposed to come on when you're in 4 wd part time, there's no light for 4wd full or low
