4wd issues 2000 Grand Cherokee ltd
Went off roading last weekend and in 4wd hi my front wheels were not engaging. I tried the 4wd low and it seemed to work fine. When I put I back into hi the 4wd hi the front wheels were engaging sometimes and not others. I was thinking a transfer case flush? Also it has a issues when braking kinda hard and approaching stop lights the jeep almost stalls and sometimes does. Could this be part of the issue?
Judging by the factbthat you have a Limited I'm guessing you have the V8? If so your t case may not have the correct fluid in it. Get it from the dealer.

My 1999 seems to not be engaging, rears spin in the rain, but it does seem to be engaging a little as the vehicle starts moving and accelerating. More than my XJ would in 2WD. So the fronts are doing something. Seeing as I have only had it two weeks I am changing my fluid tomorrow. Hopefully it will correct it all. Also get two quarts. It takes a hair less but that will fill it.
