4.7 Bogging Out

Simple as it sounds. Sometimes when I start it up it sounds like it is misfiring, then I'll shut it off and restart it and it's fine. Then once and a while when I'm driving and I get in the gas it bogs out, not misfiring just bogging. And no, there is no check engine light

What have you checked so far? A likely culprit is a clogged fuel filter. Have you ran the gas down below 1/4 tank recently?

it just recently started happening and I've been busy with work and my XJ so I havnt checked anything. Fuel filter is also one of the things I thought as well. And it just ran empty and put $20 in so it's right at a quarter now
