If you tumble a ZJ seat too fast it sometimes comes off the hinges. Clever design on the ZJ and clever idea and design on your WJ.
I regularily removed those parts from my ZJ when I took it camping. At 6'1", the bottoms removed and the front seats all the way forward there was more than enough room to sleep in it. CZJ.

it was one of the two things that I missed when I switched from a ZJ to a WJ. But now there will only be one thing that I liked better on my ZJ.

Very cool. However, my seat track is broken which causes it to rock backwards; the rear seat set up provides support so I don't fall backward when I drive
![]() I really need to fix my seat because your set up is darn slick and makes more sense than about anything else I've seen online in a long time. Well done! |

Awesome idea! Where exactly did you get the wire lock pins? I'm doing this mod tomorrow as soon as I can track down the drill bit and pins! Thanks for the excellent write-up
