265 / 70 / 16 on Stock Height

Does anybody here run 265/70/16 tires on stock rims (or aftermarket) on stock height? Can you post pictures? I know that "moderate" trimming will be needed, but exactly what/where would I be trimming? What would happen if I didn't trim, i'm assuming it'd completely ruin the tire correct?

I have a 99 WJ limited. I plan on putting a 2" BB on it over the winter season, but I need to get new tires asap.

Pics would be great! Thanks!

I was told yesterday by the tyre guy that these are quite big for the gc....I want to get this size too on stock rims....I think they will be fine...from what I have seen we may have to trim a little of the front bumper and rear bumper...no big deal really...I really want this size so I'll trim whatever I have to to make them fit. I'm told however, fuel economy will go down, speedo will be out a bit, and will be a little slower but all in all no big deal....pics would be great!!!

I ran those with a BB and rubbed the fender liner up front (minor trimming solved it). Without a BB it would be worse.

They're going to rub look at the numbers.

Mybe not the front's as much but with 245/70/16's i could barely fit my hand between the rear tire and shock. so a tire that is nearly a 1" wider will defiantly be interesting

Not to mention you have a 6" backspacing on stock rims.

I run 245/75/16 stock rims, minor inner fender rub at stock height, no rub at all with 2in bb. The rear also rubbed the shock before the bb

Budget boost 2" spring spacer lift. Costs around $100 plus shocks.

I had to trim about an inch so I could turn but I'm planning 3-4 inches because I like the stuffed look
