Question 2004 WJ Ball joint replacement needed?

2004 WJ
Special Edition
4.0L
154K miles
All stock/oem

My left front tire showed excessive wear on the outside edge. When I had it replaced I also asked for an alignment check. They report said the left front camber was -1 degree (slide bar was to the right of 'green') off. all other positions were fine. They said I would need to replace the ball joints and to get Adjustable ball joints as replacements.

Questions:
1) any recommended brands to get and/or avoid?
2) Should I follow their recommendation on getting adjustable ball joints?
3) Plan on doing both sides upper and lower, correct?
4) Still going to have to have shop do alignment, correct?

I have never done ball joints before, but I have been known to be handy with a wrench...

I got the XRF ball joints from eBay, because almost everybody is complaining about Moog quality in the last two years.

I got the kit of 4 front ball joints for 155 USD.
I recommend the XRF

Is that a consensus? Is it best to avoid Moog?

I didn't try the moog ball joints, but when I was in your position i read the reviews on google so if you google it you can read the reviews about the lower quality of MOOG recently compared with what they used to produce. XRF are excellent so far
