2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited blower resistor replacement

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited blower resistor replacement. I bought the cable and a new harness kit.

On the resistor module itself where does the red/black cable plug into and is it easy to get to?

Thanks

Eric

You have to have the updated resistor pack for the snap in cable to work. Did you get the updated resistor too?

Dealer gave me the old style too. I figured if it lasts another 10 years, it's okay.

The Red and Black cable that is connected to the resistor on the side goes to the blower motor. Where is that connector and how do i get it there? Remove Dash?! hope not.lol. or how do i get the old cable disconnected and new cable connected?

the cable that goes from the resistor to the blower just gets routed up into the dash to be out of the way. Tug on it, and it'll come out.

You dont have to remove any part of the dash to change any of the blower setup.
