Whenever I have to make a turn and quickly get up to speed my jeep will start to accelerate and then freeze and it will be like it is in neutral. My rpms go up but im frozen at like 25mph. Sometimes I have to take my foot off the gas and let it roll for a second then try again it will accelerate like normal. and other times it will randomly come back while my foot is on the gas and jerk forward giving everyone in my car whiplash.

assuming you have 4 wheel drive, are you making a tight quick turn? if so you may be locking up the front axle causing the problem.

I would also have your transmission looked at. Its possible when you make the turn (tight or not) that the trans is slipping due to the shift in weight of the jeep. This could lead to the trans failing. And its costly to rebuild one.

yeah its usually on tight quick turns. I had to buy a rebuilt transmission when I bought the jeep in november of 06. I will be pretty heated if I have to pay for another one. I will get it looked at.
