Mines the same, although reversed for rhd. Was a bit of a wtf moment when I realised the centre vent was one tube too.

This needs to be fixed on mine, I've even at a point where the kids are sweating in the back asking when it's going to get colder. I'm thinking of rigging up some computer fans on the vents to give them some turbo power or an ice chest in the back with some fans pointed at them! A rear facing car seat gets no airflow at all and our little one is a ball of sweat! My dream would be to add a rear evaporater and some T-lines and tie into the front system so I can have rear air and font air.

No kidding, please someone figure this out. I have sealed up the center vents with foam - it's better, but still practically no air our of passenger side center vent. It makes no sense since they are on the same airshaft - weird. Vent to the right of that on dash is basically useless. Overall the whole system is weak but the motor sounds like it's blowing fine. I did the blend door repair also and it had no effect. I really hope someone can help!!!

I have the same problem, and when I pulled out my radio, the duct for the vent that's just to the left of the passenger air bag was cut up, almost like somebody replaced the motor that's there, without taking the dash apart. A little duct tape helped, but it's still weak.

TIP: Point all vents towards the ceiling, and use recycle. The air will flow up along the ceiling, and be pulled back along the floor (where the recycle input is) This cools the vehicle off quickest, and gets air into the back seat better.

When you pulled the radio you were able to see the duct connections?

i dont want to hear it isnt fun, i just pulled the dash of a 2011 BMW 550xi, now that was not fun! it had the a/c evap core leaking, and the amount of wiring behind there and under the center console, OMG! and then pulling half the engine apart to disconnect the a/c lines? i mean, come on BMW and it pays like 10 hours warranty to do the job

i really doubt the WJ looks like this after removing the dash...

I do think there is a seal or something in the dash that simply collapses. The problem is deep in the dash I'm convinced.

Bump. Any updates on this? I am too having this problem. I hear the cabin airfilter can be clogged. But that is an optional accessory I believe. I'll have to see if I have it.
