2-2.5" Fat Bob lift with Black Diamond shocks?

Going to pull the trigger on shocks and Springs very soon. The Black Diamond shocks I'm looking at say they are for 0-2" lifted applications. If I buy the fat Bob kit with 2" and 2.5" Springs will those shocks be ok?

Also taking any and all suggestions on a set of decent shocks for $200 or less.

Thanks.

Those shocks should work fine. I've actually never heard of anyone running them on a WJ. I'm running ProComp Es9000 I bought from Kolak for less than $200 and I have been running them for about 3 years on and offroad without a problem. Nice smooth ride.

I'm running procomp 9000 too, also from Kolak. For the money, I'd say they were well worth it. Some people say they are too stiff, but in my opinion, they are nice. Other than some cheap hydro shocks, these are the only aftermarket shocks I've had. With that being said, I don't know how they compare to rough country, rancho, bilsteins, ect.

I'm reading good things about the pro comps. I think I will give them a shot for that price.

Thanks!

Black diamonds were pretty popular for BB shocks about 8 years or so ago. I had them on my very first WJ with 2" BB. They were okay shocks. I thought they went out of business or something though. Haven't heard anything about them in years!

Yeah I found them on one website, but who knows if they're actually in stock.

If I can't get a hold of @Kolak , does anyone know how to find the part numbers for the pro comps for a 2" lift? Thanks in advance.

Here I am

You can PM me and I'll send you info about the ProComps and/or Bilstein shocks. I'll be sure to spec the correct lengths for your lift.
