Wj 1999 Leather Seat - Heated option?

Looking to replace 2003 well worn heated leather seats with seats from a 1999 model that appear to be in perfect condition. The seller (salvage) does not know if these are heated. Please can anyone tell me if 1999 models with leather seats were heated? Or did this option come later? Thanks

I'm not sure if it was offered in '99 but I do know that it is possible to have leather with or without heat. You will either have to get a build sheet for that vin or look at them or just look at the dash in the truck and see if it has the heated seat on/off buttons.

Ask him to check the plugs under the seat and then cross reference with wjjeeps?

Thanks for the feedback. I will look at my connections to the heat pads and try to view the new seats to compare. Does anyone know if it is easy to switch out heated element pads into seats?
