1999 Grand Cherokee Dome light change

Hey i plan on replacing the stock dome lights with red dome lights. has anybody done anything like this? i cant figure out how to pop the plastic cover off (i dont want to bust anything). do i need anything special or do i just replace them with the stock bulb? help is appreciated.

You have to take down the dome light assembly....just one screw in the back holds it in....take that screw out and pull down the assembly and the lights are accessed from the top.....I put led bulbs in mine.....look great.....
