Wj 1594 and 622

i did the self check by doing the key on/off trick and got codes 1594 and 622, which from a little research i have concluded are both electrical, but where do i begin? altenator or somewhere else? when i punch the gas the lights dim and my odometer flickers so i have been suspecting the altenator. With the aletnator would it be possible for the volt gauge toread higher than normal at certain times.? that is what it does after i accelerate hard?

Clean and tighten your battery terminals, then have your battery tested for free at autozone.I personally think their batteries suck, but if its bad you can get it somewhere else.I would start there..
