If just one brake light bulb is burned out, would that cause all 3 brake lights to not work?
99 WJ. Just flushed out the old brake fluid with new using the buddy system. Concerned all that extreme & frequent brake use may have killed my brake light switch, or maybe it's a bulb.
But my brake lights don't work.
I read all the threads I could find. Cleaned the contacts, pried up gently on the socket tabs. No brake lights & now passenger side doesn't light up with headlights. Flashers work. Cycled them a few times, no joy.
Does removing the panels above & below the steering column make easier access to the switch?
Ideas on what else to test?
Thanks in advance!
