What rims are you using (17-18-20)? Most buy wheels with the correct offset. Are you using OEM wheels?
There is some discussion in the two wheel/tire sticky threads. Bottom line is that oversize tires get pretty close to the fender quickly when spacers are used. I've read here that OEM tires and rims can take 1.5 inch pretty well. The WK2 lugs are long so you use OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels with pockets... or modify the lugs.
I was thinking about going with spacers with my factory wheels for a while. Just haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. One forum member mentioned this place. Seemed to have good luck with them.
Whatever.
They, everything, must be Hubcentric or there will be vibration.
Been up and down that old road.
Had a hub machined off long, long time ago but another story.
