I believe only the V8's get the HD brakes....more weight and power needs more stopping power. Not sure on the 2014 models though so I would check a couple sources to be sure.

If your rear brake rotors are vented, you have HD brakes. If solid then std brakes. So look at the edge and if it looks like two rotors with a vented sandwich, then they are vented. I posted a drawing awhile ago, I'll see if I can dig it up.

Unless there has been a recent running change, none of the Laredos have HD brakes (vented rears), just the Limited and Overland V8s.

Sac - Jeep looks good. Throw some RRO lift photos up when you get it done if you don't mind.

Are you putting it on or having it done?

Will do! I am putting it on with the help of bro-in-law who is a mechanic.

Thank you, I will check it out. I have a limited so prob a no go. I also looked yesterday and the clearance to the inside of the current 18's is pretty tight?

I appreciate the help!!

biggest tire on QL WK2?

Has there been any conclusions about the biggest tires you can put on a QL WK2.

I have read through the thread and also inspected at diff heights on mine

I see no issue with 265/65/18

I cannot do 17" wheels d/t brakes

I am considering 275/65/18 with < factory offset rim or spacer

Help plz

I put 275/55/20 GY Silent Armor on Boss 335B with +25 offset instead of the +54 offset of the OEM rims on my wife's Overland last May. It's just scrubs the felt going lock to lock, no one drives like that unless they're drifting so I think it's OK. We havnt had any issues in a year. It has QL. The odometer is out 4%, not a big deal. A 275/65/18 of the same brand will be .2" taller.

Looking for a nice graphite/gunmetal paint for them. Don't want silver. Don't want black.

Nope. Early build 2011 Overland that didn't have QL.
It hasn't rubbed on anything that I've heard.

24's on the wk2 overland

Hey Guys, Ok so I am thinking of getting a set of 24's for the fall-spring season. I live in Az and we only use the 4x4 during the summer season for the boat and jet skis and ill use the factory wheels for that. I see some people have put 24's on the srt8's but wanted to know if it will fit our 14' overland? So for the one's out there that know if they will fit with the Qudra-Lift suspension please let me know your thoughts. I do not care to hear from you guys that think its still or ugly or rough ride or etc. Its my 50k Jeep and i will do as I please. I just would like to hear from the people that know about the suspension and the fitment. I was thinking 255-275 and 30-40 series. Here is a picture of kind of the direction I am thinking...... thanks for the help guys
