WK2 Wheel and Tire fitment

I wanted to figure out some solid specs for the 2013 Laredo, no air suspension, stock height.

Maximum backspacing allowed: ?

Maximum tire size allowed, with or without minimal trimming: ?

I have the 17" stick alloy rims, and was looking at this tire/wheel package but am not sure what will and wont fit. Which is kind of a risk when ordering online.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92...0X_P4_B_PG.htm

Specs:

265/70R17

17" X 9"

Back spacing: 4.5"

Also, what is the maximum size/width tire we can put on the stock rims?

Wk ProComps

Cant answer all of your questions but I was looking at the same set to beat on and have my 20's powder coated to keep it classy.

I had an online chat with a rep and he confirmed that these fit a stock Laredo WK2. They have 2 steel types to choose form and don't ship until mid April

I spoke to my dealer today, and they told me on 2014s they have to program tire and wheel size into the computer or it throws all kinds if computer errors. Anyone heard of this? They said they won't know if the 14 will allow bigger tires on the new computer? Seems strange to me, so how would it react with lifts etc.

2014s could be different but, unlike several other chrysler vehicles, all WK2 model OEM tires have the same diameter. Because there are no factory options, there has been no way to set a different tire size, doesn't show up in the test equipment menu. Tire factors on other chrysler vehicles could be adjusted, but since 2006 or so, only to a factory offered or factory approved tire size. Some tuners can set tire factors, however.

In other words, the factory says you should run only OEM sizes, so they don't bother giving the tech a set size feature.

I really like the KMC XD801's. I have searched the forum and can't find a similarly spec'd wheel being used. They are 18x9 5" backspacing 0 offset. I was planning on a 275/60 or a 265/65 with a mild tread pattern because Most of my off-road is sand. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Those 0 offset wheels will push the tires out 2 1/4 inches from OEM. You could have some fender clearance issues.

The sticky below has most of the wheel specs. OEMs have +56 offset, 6 1/4 in backspacing... think front wheel drive vehicles.

I assume these wheels would work with stock tires, but would they fit on an Overland with the Srt8 Tires?

I have ordered a set of wheels and I am unsure if they will fit considering all the reasearch I have done, as far as fender clearance, offset, and caliper clearance.

2011 Jeep GC Overland Summit Hemi, with Quadra-Lift
Wheel setup: Fuel Hostage Chrome, 18x9, 20ET, 5.8" backspace
Tire setup: Nitto Terra Grappler, 275/65/18

Does any one have any input or experience with a simular setup? Im specifically concerned about the low offset and clearing the Hemi calipers. The wheels are on back order so they are not available for a test fit.

To answer my own question, yes they fit. Kinda.

Here are my notes for anyone thinking of an aggressive offset and a 32" tire with QL:

Park mode: No touching, but don't think about turning your wheel or you may rip off the front bumper. Would not reccomend driving at this height.

Normal: Tires kiss the inner fender felt shroud and front bumper at full tilt. I removed excess fendershroud and secured the rest with screws and washers to keep it against the body. No longer have issues at any speed and turning. I have pics if anyone is interested.

Offroad height 1 and 2: No issues

Just to confirm...i have a 2013 overland with oem 20" wheels.

Will a 275/55R20 fit without rubbing anything at all the QL heights?

What about a 275/60R20?

I love the look and stance of this concept for the 14' Trailhawk and these are the wheels that came on the new 13' Rubis, will these wheels fit my hemi wk2 Altitude Edition? i've checked out the wheel sticky but found nobody that has ran these wheels yet, thanks for the input and help guys.
