ktwillis,

I like the look of your Jeep. I was think of doing the same with the chrome removed but with 20" Overland Summit Bright Polished Wheels. Wish someone had pictures of that.

Hey Gents looking for some advice/input/help. I've been exhausting multiple forums in search of what tire/size size to go with. After much deliberation I went with
Terra Grapplers 275/65r18 (stock Laredo rims). They look great, but to my dismay they are rubbing in the left rear fender well, so much in fact it wore a hole through
the rear of the fender well. This was done with a full load (4 passengers) not even on the trail, so this makes me think that once I DO go on the trail; i'm screwed. So whats
my best option here? will a RR 2.5 lift resolve this? Spacers (if so how much)? I've tried to find the answer to this but i'm coming up short and my fender wells are paying the price.

Thanks for the help guys.

My Jeep: 2012 WK2 Laredo X, 3.6L, No Spacers, No Lift, Stock 18's.

Is it rubbing the pinch weld, or elsewhere?

The only place I see it rubbing is the rear of the back left wheel well. Also forgot to mention, I've got a non-quadra lift wk2.

^weird. I've towed heavy boats, fully loaded with people and gear and never rubbed with the same set up.

A few photos of my Jeep with new Mopar 18" Off Road rims and 275/65r18 Maxxis MT-762 Bighorn tires. I bolt these on when I go off road, then I switch back to the stock 20" wheels and tires when I get home. So far they have performed very well off road. I've encountered no rubbing in my 2012 Quadra-Lift equipped Overland, (i.e. park mode, aero mode, off road at full articulation, etc.). I'm taking a trip up to Fraser Island at the end of the month. That should provide an excellent test to see if they rub.

These were the only mud terrain tires I could find in Australia in this size. They were plenty of dual use and all terrain options, but this was the only mud terrain tire I could find. They are quite loud on the road, needed to turn the radio up a bit to drown them out. And I did notice a small loss in power. Since I only use them off road, and they perform great there, I don't mind too much.

The first photo is in Off Road 2. The next 2 photos are in Normal Ride Height. The off road photos were taken at the Glass House Mountains just north of Brisbane.

Hey everyone long time lurker first time poster. Got new shoes for the GC 4WD QuadraTrac II with BFG Rugged Terrain 265/70/R17's on stock wheels (stock tires were 245/70/R17). They fit fine with no lift no rub. Drove with full travel and no issues.

Awesome! I have the same but in 33" haven't seen anyone else on here with em yet, they are actually quiet compared to other all terrains like BFG Baja champs

it would be sweet if I could get a set of these on my Summit. I need these tires (or similar) on an 18" rim for special times

Can anyone tell.me before I pull the trigger very soon if I will have a problem. I ha e the level kit. I'm getting 17x8.5 tko's with 18 offset. This will put it put to the fenders. I want to get 265/70/17 instead of 265/65/17. Will that extra half inch between tire and fender cause me any potential problems with the fender if I hit a big bump or go off-road. . May be a dumb question bit I'm worried about that.

Just got a 12 WK2 4x4 Laredo with 20" polished aluminum wheels, noticed that GY Silent Armors come in 275/55/20 = 31.9". Any of you try these yet for your 20's. Had silent armors on previous WJ and they are great for snow/rain/daily driver tire. My other option is to sale the 20s and get some 17" or 18" Laredo wheels. I want more side wall for a safety concern, not a fan of low profile tires but this was the only choice I had when getting Nav/Uconnect options.
