WK2 Rock Rail Install.

Installed the Mopar rockrails this weekend. PITA but looks great and solid. Roughly an 8 hhr install by yourself. I recommend 2 guys though. A few pics.

Thanks for the pos feedback guys. And yeah 8 hrs. Would have been done in half that with 2 guys but I didnt think it would be that involved. The side steps are a 2 hour install and go to the frame. These rock rails mount to the body. You demo out the plastic rocker and associated pieces that integrate into the flares then each one is bolted with 20 plus bolts to the body. This includes a stiffener along the bottom rail.

They look nice and will do the job but if you are planning regular trips where you need them there are many other places that rocks will damage. I would put them on and hope to never use them.

I did have to add sales tax to that though. But still a buck or two under 700 with that added!

I ordered mine through a vendor over the internet from this forum $679. $714 shipped to Kansas, no sales tax. It was FREDBEAN (parts) Doylestown, PA. (I'm originally from PA I'm in the Military stationed in Kansas)
