Wk WK2 Rear door lock Issue

So I noticed last night that my rear left door is not locking or unlocking with the passenger or driver button. We have to lock it and unlock it manually. I noticed that with the remote it unlocks but it does not lock when I press the button. Anyone have this issue and if so how was it resolved. I will be looking into it this weekend so any tips on what to look for would be great.

Have the dealer give you the part number, look it up on ebay and then see if the dealer will match the price. At least save some money on the part.

Good luck with that. That's what I said until I saw how small the space is. I paid a local mechanic two hours of labor. The part was like $60.00.

I might try it and then if not a possibility then I will pay someone to do it as well.
