Thanks!! It's a limited model but fitted with original Mopar 20inch bi-color Matt finish alloys and 275/45r20 Pirelli tyres. I took off the stock 18s. My wife only wanted these 20s to be fitted on it. I too love the Matt finish on these alloys. I also fitted the chrome mesh grille, chrome side mirror covers, tinted the front side windows and fitted the official Jeep mudflaps front and rear.

I mounted 285/55/20 Terra Grapplers on the stock wheels with 1.5" spacers and took them off immediately - that is, I didn't even put it in gear. The tires looked great and cleared everything STANDING STILL but the corner of the tire was WAY too close to the front fender while turning. It would have rubbed for sure. That's with the RRO leveling kit so you'll have an extra half inch but extra height doesn't solve horizontal clearance.

It sounds like you have your mind made up but you should plan on the tires rubbing the fenders. Hopefully the damage will be acceptable.

Yeah I meant 295/55...... Hmm well If it's a bad as you say I might just have to go with toyo mt 275/55... Wonder if it would look better with the 275's and leveling kit or 275's and the full 2.5 lift

A question for you guys with the RRO 2.5" lift and basically 32" tires -- How much power loss and MPG loss have you noticed? Id like to hear answers from guys with the Hemi and the v6

Thanks

A little bit on both. Not enough to sway me away from the lift and tires. I was at 17 city and 21 highway post lift, pre CAI and exhaust. After those it dropped a little more due to the slight increase in throttle reapinse and sound. I don't really care what my MPG is. Well...As long as it doesn't get to like 10 mpg average I will be fine.

But like others have said if you are concerned with mpg a Jeep isn't for you.

Thanks for the responses. I don't care too much on mpg really just estimating costs. My zj gets about 11-12mpg as it is :P

That hemi mpg drop seems really high... I don't understand how the v6 had a small drop compared to your hemi?

I used to come on here quite a bit until I sold my 00 WJ about 3 years ago. It was the worst three years of my life. I finally got a Jeep again. 2011 Laredo X. A buddy of mine just powder coated my wheels this weekend. No lift or tires on this as it is the family wagon.

What is a flash ? Is it a computer update for the tranny ?

If it is a update we can assume its best to not get the tranny update ?
