Thought I might give plasti dip a try on the rims. So far it's been on for three weeks and holding up well.

I did the same on my last wheels but did them on the jeep and left the lugs in and just sprayed the entire thing... You can also get black lugs...

Just got all the work done last week. Put on the RR leveling kit, 18x9 xD monsters 18mm offset, 275/65/18 Nitto Crossteks. Also, thank you to these forums! Helped me with a lot of the decision making around the wheels and tires. The grill, door and rear chrome trim are plasti-dipped. I originally was going to shoot for the 18x9 rockstars with a 0mm offset but decided against it at the last second. There was too much speculation floating around if they'd fit with a bigger tire - and I was ordering them online. I'm just as happy with the monsters though. really digging the look

Well the Saturday two weekends ago was a big one for my jeep. Had just gotten the 285/50r20 Rocky Mountains on and I put the wheels spacers on and plasti dipped the wheels, rear brow, grille and door handles. Attached a pic of it dirty. On Wednesday I got home and realized the plasti dip on the grille peeled up in one spot so I pulled it all off and it's now back to chrome. Have found out that the dip on the door handles isn't gonna hold up either so I'm probably gonna pull it off today. All that's fine, I'm just really happy with the wheels

Are those a size larger than the 275/55r20? Also, what size spacer are you running? Jeep looks good.

Thanks. The 285/50r20s are about 31.2 inches while the 275s are 31.9, so they're about .7 of an inch smaller in diameter. They're about .4 inches wider though (11.2 inches compared to 10.8 ). And I have the 1.25" bora spacers. They're great, no rub at any height (with QL)

Sorry to hear the plasti dip isn't holding up. It looks really sharp on your GC.
