Thanks for the pics CT01. After viewing them, I'm thinking:

1" spacer for 265/65r18
1.25" - 1.5" spacer for 275/65r18

It appears that putting larger tires on the WK2 is going to be heavily limited by the front fascia/fender. This portion of the fender is almost a vertical angle, so even with 6" of lift, there will still be a tiny gap between the tire and the fascia/fender area.

Can someone do a little investigating for me? The fenders have a small plastic lip going around the fender. In the pictures it looks like a small fender flare. Are these removable? If so, what is behind them? I'm wondering if removing these would allow for a little more clearance.

Thanks, Lucas

That part of the front fascia is at least removable as you can see from my earlier photos. As for that plastic lip around the fenders, it is removable but I'm not sure you would gain a lot of clearance, maybe half an inch at most. If you google around for the WK2 images of testing on the Rubicon trail you can see one that was beat up pretty well and had some of that trim missing.

I don't think a 1-inch spacer is needed for 265/65r18s. It might even make for less clearance next to the front and back of the wheel well when at full turn. I'll try to get some more pictures later to show you what I mean. I need to clean that thing up anyway!

That's what I've heard although I've never tried on other wheels. Someone else mentioned somewhere here that JK wheels, although having the correct pattern, won't fit due to inside spacing against the brake calipers. Spacers might work but I don't think it would look good with the wheels sticking out that far. Which is too bad since a set of JK Rubicon wheels with AT tires would look good on a WK2.

my new baby:

Dark Charcoal Limited 4X4 with v8 and lux pkg II. It's getting the black side step this weekend.
MSRP was approx. 42k, paid 39k. Was wondering if that seems like a good deal??

Seems like a good deal to me. I just now noticed that other people's Limiteds and Overlands don't have the chrome fog light bezels. For some reason mine came with those but it didn't have the Chrome Group option. I guess the dealer must have added them on.

I hope you weren't wanting the Off-Road II package with a Limited. The build site no longer has it as an option. I guess I was one of the lucky few! The Off-Road I package has just about everything else except for the Quadra-Lift.

I noticed that. I went online about 2 weeks ago and built mine and it had the offroad 2 package. I built one 2 days ago and that's no longer an opition. Is that to say you can't get Quadra Lift on limiteds anymore? It looks like you can on Laredos.

I'm still unsure about quadra lift in the first place, but I hate them cutting opitions.

Its still there but buried, if you select the 18" off road tires then a window opens up to select Off-Road package one or two.

Same as mine, about the same price too. I added the chrome fog bezels, chrome pillar covers, and BFG All Terrain tires.
Oh, almost forgot, I added rear facing LED turn signals to the mirrors too.

Cool. Just tried it. that's really funny that they do it that way, when it should just be a regular option

I see yours has a black scuff on the white letters too. Mine came the same way on one tire. I didn't worry about it as I knew I would be changing tires very soon.

Ya that is the air suspension inflating to a higher psi to give you the lift. I took one for a quick shake down and the OR-1 was bearable, but the OR-2 was just brutal! I saw myself only using it for short bursts off road when needed. If I get one years from now I plan to just get the standard suspension and upgrade the coils which I am sure companies like OME will make soon.
