WK2 Lift Options

Hi,

Other than the RRO lift option for the WK2, is there another company out there? Ideally, I am looking for springs rather than the blocks option.

Thanks!

I think that is it for the time being. It is a great kit, however. Check out the other threads.

Please use the search function. It is your friend. This has been covered many a time.

Actually thier is an option for springs. Dobinson springs sells a 40 mm lift ~1.5 inches. The problems is the price. They quoted me $1500 , mainly because of the shipping cost from Australia to the US. Here is the link if the price doesn't scare you off.

Skyjacker has a part number for a 2" spacer kit. Although I haven't seen so much as a picture of it.

Thanks, I got a quote there as well (sorry for not mentioning it). Yes, I meant for something that is cost effective. I don't want it free, but I also can't justify paying $1,500 for four springs and the other two little things that come with the kit.

Thanks! Ideally, I'd want a spring option.

Are these suspension lifts or body lifts? i.e., do they actually enhance ground clearance?

Suspension lifts, and yes, they increase clearance.

Cannot do body lift on a unibody vehicle. Our frame is part of the body.

Dobinsons Lift

Saw this on another site and couldn't find it anywhere here. It looks like they just have longer coils to give an extra 40 mm (1.57 inches) of lift. Anyone tried them or seen them yet?

Red face Still on the hunt.

Hey fellas not sure if this the right place to post this but I have been in the market for a larger suspension lift kit. ( RRO 2.5" Spacer kit already installed). I have been scouring the forums and haven't turned up much but a teaser photo from AEV sporting a 4" lift with 35"s, turns out there JK market is producing so well they will not follow through. So I contacted RRO for some answers, the conversation is as follows..

Michael:
I have installed your 2.5" lift for my 2012 Grand Cherokee as well as 1.5" spacers and am very satisfied with the results. However I am still experiencing some tire rub. My question is, is there any foreseeable suspension kits that will be available for extra clearance in the future?
Charlie:
We have looked into it some , but it would be a expensive kit to go any higher. It is some thing the owner is looking into.I would keep a eye on our facebook page , as he updates new items or things that are in the works there before putting them on our web site
Michael:
Thanks Charlie, will do. The only other Suspension lift is offered by a company named Dobinson which offers a 40mm lift. I would like to stick with your company but was curious as to whether there kit would be compatible with your 2.5" spacer lift, maybe the forums will turn something up.
Charlie:
It will not be, Our operations manager spoke with Dobinson at sema last month, If you combine the two the CV would be bound up and the steering also.
Charlie:
That is our concern going any higher. But again we have not ruled it out.I would just watch our web and face book pages for anything new.

Alas the waiting continues..
