WK2 2014 Limited and quadra lift

Ok I came realy close to pulling the tringger on a 2014 limited with the 20 in wheel package, the 8.4a radio, and the power roof. All options I wanted. I was drawn in to look at a 2013 Overland because I thought the quadralift would be cool. Well they were too proud of the 2013 and showed me the 2014 with a really good deal. I backed away simply because I did have approval papers (from wife). We will go back this weekend to see if I can get the same deal.

My question is the 2014 shows the quadra lift buttons, but they never would light up. Since, I didn't see anywhere on the window invoice showing ql, I have to conclude that it is not installed. But do all of the limiteds show the buttons for lift even thought they are not active. I could have swarn I looked at one that simply had to buttons blanked out in the lift locations.

If the buttons are there that say up and down then it has ql. My 2011 limited has the buttons blacked out because it doesn't have ql. The same bezel is used for both, just depends on ql u get buttons otherwise u don't. Either one of 2 things. U have ql but something is wrong and the buttons don't light up or maybe the wrong bezel was installed at the factory. That would be a major quality control issue if that's the case.

Limiteds with the ORA package will have QL, but I dunno what they do with the bezel otherwise.

Go to jeep.com, into the owners section, and download the 2014 owners manual to read about QL (or anything else about the vehicle). Lots of mumbo-jumbo about when it will or won't do what.

Unless you are obsessed with the idea of 20" wheels, you may want to think about the ORA II package which includes towing package as part of it, skids plates, QL. Not a bad deal for an extra 1500.00. When you factor in that the 20" wheel package costs about a 1000, for an extra 500 vs what you were going to spend you get a lot more stuff IMO. Thats what I bought.

FYI bottom line pricing on a limited with 20" wheel pkg about 37,500, or with ORA II 37,999. I added Nav for another 600
