What are you guys doing for Window Tint? I just picked up a 15' GC Altitude in White and plan on getting the front windows tinted. Just cant decide if i want to match the back side windows or go with the legal 35%. Not sure if going 35% will look odd compared to the back which the dealer said is 20 or 25%. If its fairly close to the untrained eye i would for sure rather go with the legal 35 to avoid asking for extra attention from the boys in blue. Any pics of a that kind of combo tint would be great and opinions welcome.
I always do 5% side/rear and 35% front sides. You can tell, but the rears also shade the fronts some and actually make the car appear tintless on the fronts in some light. Im in ca where it's illegal to tint the fronts also.
20% looks great and is legal here in Florida, I've gone 20 on all my jeeps. On my white '11 I asked the dealer to tint it and it came back Florida style so I can't see jack but it looks great. It's a dark 5% plus 15 over the rest so I mostly guess and use the force.
I'll try to remember to get pics this weekend. The wife's 15 Overland has 35% in the front and factory in the rear. It's white and I think it's a good combo. You can notice the difference but it's not bad. I've had 20% before and the older I get it's harder to see out of it.
