17 inch wheels/rims will not fit over an Overland's calipers if it has HD brakes. Check the rear rotors for vents, if they are vented then you have HD brakes. All V8s have HD brakes, some V6s but it varies by model year.

Tire help ! GC 14 limited

So I'm currently deployed and buying rims and tires for my jeep since I'm adding the 2.5" lift then going to 32's. I wanted to buy a full size spare ( rim and tire ) but didn't know if I could fit it underneath in the spare tire compartment , or if I need to buy the spare tire adapter for the roof rack ! I don't care if I have to take out all those bins , but would like to keep the jack? Any hep would be amazing

A 255-70/18 is a 32.1" OD tire and will fit in the spare time compartment with the bins out. I had that setup on my 2012 when I had 275/55-20s. You can find often cheap 18s from wrangler take-offs that work well for backups. I got a set of 5 with the tires for ~250 maybe.

My 20" inch polished wheels have seen better days. I am curious to see if anyone has bought the aftermarket OEM style versions I see on ebay?

Anyone with the KO2's keep them on year round in a somewhat snowy (or worse) environment?

I have the KO2 in 275/55/R20 and am torn on whether I need to put on some Blizzaks or equivalent this winter.

KOs may be good enough for you, blizzaks are much better on ice. The WK2 4WD traction control system is pretty good, its the stopping ability that one needs to be more worried about. Do you have to be on the road regardless, or can you wait for the roads to be treated? On our other vehicles I use decent mileage winter tires or all season tires because only our WK2 is our go regardless vehicle. I outfit it with 18 inch blizzaks in the winter because I don't want to get caught short and a 20 inch summer tire in the summer as the blizzaks wear quickly at temperatures above 40 or 50. KOs won't have that disadvantage.

Thanks ColdCase. Sounds like a good plan. I have the OEM 18 inch wheels and Blizzaks seem to be pretty reasonable. Especially compared to some Nokians I was looking at. :-)
