Ok, thanks for the info, maybe I should go with 275/65/18s or 275/60/18s, so as not to stick out so far.. thoughts?

Just put 275/55/20's on last week. What a difference from the stock Forterra's. Jeep sits up a tad higher and the beefier tire look great. Handling is night and day difference. Up in the mountains last week they handled fantastic on the twisties. Ride is very smooth on the interstate and fairly quite.

Just got a 2013 Overland.

Came with Goodyears.

Traded in 2009 Overland which, also, had GYs.

Not good in rain!!

Want something better - checked out Tire Rack comparos.

Yokohama Parada Spec-Xs look good.

But real world info would help.

I'm thinking about switching wheels to a set of 20" Overland Summit take-offs (polished) with a set of 285/50R20 -or- 31.3" all-season tires.

Here are the two tires I'm thinking of going with.

Nitto NT420s -or- Toyo Proxes ST II

The Toyos cost $200/set more than the Nittos. What do you all think? Any experience with either of them?

Just got a 12 WK2 4x4 Laredo with 20" polished aluminum wheels, noticed that GY Silent Armors come in 275/55/20 = 31.9". Any of you try these yet for your 20's. Had silent armors on previous WJ and they are great for snow/rain/daily driver tire. My other option is to sale the 20s and get some 17" or 18" Laredo wheels. I want more side wall for a safety concern, not a fan of low profile tires but this was the only choice I had when getting Nav/Uconnect options.

Performed the 275/55/20 upgrade. Awesome upgrade - it transformed the look of the truck. I went with the Scorpions by Pirelli. Only negative is that the truck is slightly slower off the line, which is definitely noticeable in daily driving. Truck feels heavier. But in the snow, its a beast now! This is the hyper silver color. FYI, 18 inch chromes are for sale - PM me

Just replaced the OEM Latitudes with these M/S2's. The difference is night and day.

Your WK looks great Alaska-HWY JK, you have a slightly wider stance with those less backspaced wheels. I am a bit concerned with the UCA bolt hitting the larger tires with OEM 20s but it looks as others have done this already without issues. I checked at the dealership for smaller wheels and found that they cost a lot more then I thought. Thinking of just running the 20s with the 275/55/20 GYSAs for now. Have any of you tried the RRO level kit with this set up, over the top strut plates can cause problems if not engineered right from what I have learned with the KK?
