Hey guys - I have the base Laredo RWD (no QL). I don't really know much about wheels/tires, but what I do know is - I want them WIDER. I like the way the rear tires look on the BMW X5 & am interested in copying that look. I think they're staggered though. So, my question is: what would be the widest tires I can fit onto some 18 x 9s? I'm thinking I might be able to squeeze 305/55/18 in the front & maybe something even wider in the back. All of my driving is on the pavement, so no off-roading needs here at all.... Thoughts?

20"s wrapped in 33"s it's possible with removal of lower air dam and 1.5" spidertrax wheel spacers, Non QL naturally & RRO lift

Did you drill out the wheel spacers? My JK ones wouldn't work because the GC has larger studs. I talked to Spidertrax and they didn't make them for the new GC yet.

Yes simple use of a drill press, the hubs are exactly the same so just widen the stud holes and they fit snug & perfect, also have to change your lugs on the outside to wk.

Did you use the stock lug nuts to secure the spacer to the hub, or the spacer to the wheel?

I'm asking because I took the stock rubicon wheels/tires off my JK the other day and put it on my WK2. Those 32s and wheels look bad on the WK2! The rubi wheel doesn't have the same backspacing and doesn't have the inside clearance for the WK2 brakes without spacers though.

How do you like your RRO Lift? Did you go straight to the 33s? I'm wondering if I'll have any rub at full articulation with 32's and spacers.

Use wk2 size acorn nuts to secure spacer and just got lugs for WK left wk2 ones out. The lift isnt much to complain about, two spacers some bolts lol I also have the RRO UCAS which seemed to provide more droop. Not sure how much you will rub with those jk wheels, but with 33's it kisses the top of my rear fenders on articulation. I shaved my pinch welds so they no longer rub up front anyone.

Note: Due to BS and Offset this is the biggest tire that will fit on these wheels if you have QL. I tried a Cooper AT3 and GY MTR in 275/65r18 with no luck.

255/75/17 off Wrangler Rubicon with RRO Level Kit. Wheels bolted right up but you need a 1/8 to 1/4 spacer in the front because the wheel just kisses the caliper if you break hard in a tight turn.

Gotcha. I assume the calipers would be in the way. I imagine if someone did do smaller than 17s that it would have been posted already.
