I noticed those wheels you want are listed for 2005-2010 WKs and some wranglers, not 2011+ WK2s. Dunno what all the difference is, perhaps offset and caliper clearance. Perhaps someone that tried to fit WK wheels on a WK2 will jump in.

SRT replicas should fit the same as OEMs on a SRT, which do not stick out beyond the fender. There are many here that run them.

2013 Grande Cherokee Laredo Tire/Wheels Question

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew what the max size tire and rim i could put on my 2013 Stock Grande Cherokee laredo without getting a lift kit? Right now it has the stock P245/70R17 tires. Would love to hear any recommendations on tire/wheel sizes for a 2013 laredo.
Thank you.

Tires for 2012 Altitude 265/50R20

Hey guys,

I need some help. I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee Altitude currently at 50k miles and its time to replace the Goodyear Forteras that came with. Could you help me pick new tires?

I was looking at Nitto Terra Grappler G2, I love the way they look but I am worried about highway noise. I do a lot of highway driving, usually long distance at 80mph. Are they very noisy?

I also looked at Michelin Latitude Tour HP, Pirelli SCORPION VERDE ALL SEASON PLUS, Continental CROSSCONTACT LX20 WITH ECOPLUS TECHNOLOGY, Yokohama PARADA SPEC-X,and General Grabbers. I have also considered getting another pair of Forteras.

In reading reviews of each tire, some people love, some hate, I would like to get the Nittos if the are not excessively noisy. Or is there a tire i should get that i haven't looked at?

Could you guys help me pick a tire?

thanks

The Nitto 421Q is a nice tire, an XL rating with great highway performance, just a little noisier than the forteras, much better in rain or snow. Available from discounttiredirect among others. A couple of us here that do a lot of highway and towing run them.

I have recently put on the Yokohama PRADA SPEC-X and they are awesome. It is a quite ride along with a lot of grip. I had the Forteras for about 33K and decided to dump them. BUT, I have 2 sets of tires, one for summer driving (Yoko's) and the others for winter (Bridgestone Blizzak dm-v1).

You may also want to take a peek at the Cooper Zeon LTZ.

I heard that the PRADAs have a very soft sidewall. Kinda squirmy when loaded, especially when towing. What have you found? The Yokos did not work well on my pickup for that reason.

I definitely wouldn't be going off-road with these tires but they fit the bill perfectly for my 80+ mile highway daily driving. Feel's solid on the highway at speed, great grip during dry and wet conditions. Also, I can not comment about the towing since I have not done so with these.

I have the continental cross contact lx20 with eco plus. I put them on about 1500 miles ago and so far I love them. They are smooth and quiet. Seem great in the rain but have not had them in snow. They were night and day different than those crappy Forteras that my 11 overland came with. I was getting serious vibration on the highway with the Forteras, as soon as I pulled out for my first drive with the continentals it was like driving a brand new vehicle. I am mostly around town and highway I do not go off road so I did not need a more aggressive tire like some on the forum.

Do the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's have a lot of road noise on the highway, can you compare the level of noise to the stock Fortera?

thanks

Interesting. I was under the impression that the SRT grill would not be a drop-in replacement for the non-srt 2011-2013 GC's. Grills from the other trim levels you can swap around, but I thought SRT had a different "fit". Is that not the case? Did you do any molding customization there, or did you basically paint it green and pop it in place?

I dislike wraps, 22's, attention grabbers, stickers, and the Brooklyn Nets, jersey here.. But that Jeep looks fantastic and is a reflection of someone with a real eye for a finished product that works. Really nice job, I'd stop anywhere to check it out. Also like your work on the other cars, extreme and street scene but tasteful, like just a but of restraint but still show car outrageous. I like function over form but you done good.
The WKtoo is more at home on the road than anywhere a else, stop bsing yourselves. Ive done short arms, long arms, 33's and bigger under Wj's, I did the only engine swap that runs. After the wj grands where done, capable yes but illogical and impractical. My WKtoo is a tall car..no more a wheeler than the renegade. I can take a front wheel drive car almost anywhere a WKtoo can go, enjoy.
