They told me that they no longer offer lifetime plans.

My GC has been built, but still waiting for it to show up. My current ride is an 08 Chevy Suburban that I signed up for a 3 year contract, after the free year was up. Normally I only keep my company vehicle 4 years, which equals 140,000 miles for me. I figured I would have it the life of the vehicle. I honestly don't remember what it cost, but it seemed like it was around 300 - 400 bucks. When the recession hit, I kept my Suburban over the usual 4 years, 140,000 miles, and went over 7 years and 220,000 miles. I realized a couple years back that I had never signed back up. Finally just a few weeks back they sent me an email, and then finally turned it off after I never responded. I think I got a little over 2 years free. The email mentioned owing them money, but I never paid them a cent over the one contract. Funny thing is, I haven't hardly missed it at all. The only down side for me is I can't listen to the hockey playoffs on my way home from work until the new Jeep shows up. If they still have that $25 or $30 for 6 months when the Jeep free time is up, I will probably go for it at that price.

Here's the code ---> www.siriusxm.com/sw4e25
I tried using this code but was told this is for US only. Anyone have a Canadian discount code? They offered my $40 for 6 months on my wife's car and I said no.

It's more expensive in Canada. When it ran out on my wife's GC they sent $130 something renewals that we ignored then called with a $75 offer which we took. $180 something this year, told them to cancel it unless there'd renew for $75. They did, good til next spring. It's way overpriced IMO. They loop to much and there's to much garbage, I havn't had it in my JK for a couple of years and don't miss it.

Not sure if that is entirely true. When my one year free trial expired I started getting lot of calls and junk. I finally settled for $60 for 12 months. But now I am getting it for my wife's car....may go on a long trip so not bad for $25. But I can't seem to find a Canadian code...that's what the rep wants.

Are these renewal prices all-inclusive figures? Or is tax, fees, etc. to be added to it? For example, $20 for 5 months: is that what gets paid in total, or is it $20 plus tax, plus this, plus that?

If extra costs, how much do the extras come to on $20 for 5 month plan?

I just had this prob with wife's suv. They just bill our credit card for like $237 for the year. And every year i call them and they reduce it to like $ 97 for the year. This year i said id only renew if it was the same as last year. The rep would only go to $110 for the year. I said no thanks, pls cancel. She asked why i was willing to lose the service for $13 and i asked why she was willing to lose a client for $13!!!! Her answer was that she could not go any only lower....

Its a complete and utter scam imho.

On the phone tonight, they quickly retreated from the special offer of $14.99/month, to 6 months for $30, but could go no lower. However, when I pointed out that my spouse was receiving offers of 5 months for $20, they agreed to match it.

FWIW, this is the 140 channel "satellite radio" "Select Package" without Howard Stern, not the 165 channel package. Also, does not include "internet radio". She couldn't give me a straight answer as to what the other "missing" 24 channels are, but the 140 channel list on the website seemed to have the ones I use regularly.

They said they could not waive taxes and royalty fees, which add $2.77 to the $20 for the 5 month plan (total for the 5 months is $22.77). If I fail to cancel before auto-renewal in June, it will renew at $51.22 per month. $4.55 per month (or just over a dollar a week) is a price point I'm willing to bite at, but not $51.22 per month, or even $14.99 per month for that matter.

MUST NOT FAIL TO CALL !!!!

Reception that cuts out as much as it does......I only wish it was a 'delete option' on my Jeep. I didn't want it when it was free! They said they had never had anyone cancel their free trial so soon after the dealer activated it.
Trees and mountains nearby...renders it almost useless. Even when it is functioning sound quality is low...flat sounding. Not even a good deal when free.

For 3 years I've been getting subscriptions for the price of 5 months for $25. After taxes its 31.00 for 5 months on each vehicle. I have 2 vehicles and get the same price every year. Call Sirius and go go straight to cancellations: tell them your leaving unless you get the 5 for 25 deal.
