I played hard to get....lol. After declining their $75/Yr offer; I knew they will call me back in few weeks/months. I wanted to see how low will they go. I was right they did call back. Paying for Sirius is definitely not on my list. It is nice to have but to me it is not worth paying for since I only listen to couple of channels. So I was honest with the rep who contacted me with a $30 for 6 months offer. I said I like it but not for 6 months. The rep said they dont have a promotion for a year. I told the rep that I will have to call you back since I am at work. So after work I called them back and told them that I will go for a year if it is a year offer. This other rep said the same thing that $30 for 6 months is the best offer. So I told them that I don't want it unless they can do it for a year @ $60. I was put on hold and within few minutes, I signed up. Of course you gotta be nice. When you are nice the other person will try to counter that Good Luck

Of course me being nice hasn't gotten me anywhere with my dealer or fixed my clunking issue, but thats a different post...lol.

Well, you have found the unicorn. Many people have tried that exact strategy, since there is a 25$ for five month and 30$ for six month deal in the "system" that reps CAN leverage, but nobody I have ever heard of has been able to get them applied back to back, proactively. Most can and have been able to get the same deal, over and over again, applied to the account, but always have had to call in at the 5.5 month mark and do the dance, etc.. It does continue to work, but not in the way you describe. I'll have to rethink my strategy going forward, paying 93$ for each radio a year.

Sounds like there is a competition going on to see how low will Sirius go

Give it a try....I doubt they will go that low. After speaking to few different people so far I am the lowest @ $60/year but if they want your business they will make a deal

Even if you can get $60 ($10 difference), I think that would be worth it.

I offered $80 a year and they said no and let me walk.

We have a 04 Honda Accord.
Awhile back XM was about to go under. Sirius bought them.
Offered lifetime for $350 seems like.
Thinking of keeping this car forever.
Leaving it in my will

Bump....

My Sirius radio just shut off yesterday. It's two months shy of my free one-year subscription. I'm gonna have to call up to get them to turn it back on.

Just wondering what offers some of you have been getting lately? I wouldn't mind doing a 2 or 3 year subscription if the price was right.

I got that $25 for 6 months. At any point Pandora is less than $4 and I get to pick the genre in a big way. This was on Wife 2013 focus.

Not sure if this happened to anyone else: purchased my wk2 in spring 2011 and my satellite radio worked until about a month ago. I never paid for a subscription, it's like they forgot and realized their mistake 3 years later! I do miss it tho...

Had something similar. They seemed to forget for years. Confusion, with me, about vehicles. Called them about this.
Very nice person got everything fixed. Zeroed out $513 problem with a Honda Accord.

Got my 2014 Jeep GC set up to auto roll over, when due, to their simplest plan. Don't need Howard for sure.
$89 a year
$109 all tax and fees per year

Has anyone negotiated a life time coverage plan with Sirius? If so, what was the cost?
