What did you pay for your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

My wife sold her 08 GC a few years ago and has regretted it ever since. We are in the market for a newer SUV and she is in love with a new GC limited we drove yesterday. I am insisting we get a diesel and we definitely want the luxury group II and tech group. That basically puts a limited right in line with an Overland, price wise.

Should we expect to pay invoice? I don't know of any factory rebates right now, so I can't think of a way to pay less than invoice..

Anyone paid less?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go to the jeep garage forum. There is a Houston, TX, group buy that will get you 5.5% below invoice. There is also a DC group buy that is something like 6% below invoice. I think Chicago might also have a group but, but it may only be around 3.5-4% below invoice.

There are rebates up to $1500 on 2014s, dunno about 2015s. There is also a $1500 rebate on 2014 diesels.

Unless you are willing to travel, about invoice +1% is what to expect if you join something like tread lightly.... but there has been rare examples of better deals.

I ordered my 2015 Summit on Saturday.

There are some lease-cash incentives available. Since I am leasing another vehicle, I qualified for $1,000.

As ColdCase mentioned, Tread Lightly is another option I can strongly recommend but I don't know if you still have enough time to register for that (I assume ColdCase made a typo because Tread Lightly is 1% BELOW invoice).

So the price my dealer and I agreed on was 2% below invoice (in my area, this would have been VERY difficult to beat without the TL Affiliate Program) minus the $1,000-incentive.

EDIT: These are the exact numbers:

MSRP: $53,585
Invoive: $50,794
Agreed on: $48,762 (after $1,000 conquest cash).

Dealer also offered me KBB trade-in value for my current car.

I would also love to know what folks are paying for their 2015's as I'm about to get one myself. I'm going through a broker as I'm done dealing with dealership BS but want to make sure the price I'm getting with the broker is in the ballpark.

We bought ours about a week ago from Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Roswell, GA. We got 9% off sticker on our limited. Wasn't a luxury II package but sticker was $43,000 and got it for $38,500 plus tax and fees. We drove 6 hours to go get it and I'll probably buy from them again if I decide to get a ram for my next truck. Did the deal over the phone rented a car and drove down to dealership. They had it waiting for us when we got there. Test drove it and signed paperwork and were in and out in about 45 minutes. Good luck with with the search for what you want!

Bought a 2015 JGC Altitude last week. Sticker was $38,685. Paid $37,000. 4.3% off MSRP. Not sure what that equates to related to Invoice.

Congrats! That's a bout 1.6% below invoice. Your local market offers right about that on TrueCar so I would so you did as good as you could in your market.

I did much better on my trade-in. So overall I think I did fairly well. Kbb on my trade-in was $23,738, however, I was able to get the dealer to get me $25,200. I think they were trying to make their numbers for the month.

ColdCase,

Can you tell me how to get the $1500 rebate on 2014 diesels? I know my local area has a $500 bonus cash but have not heard about the diesel rebates.

You know, that $1500 diesel rebate may have recently expired. Some areas of the country seem to have a $1000 regional plus $500 corporate bonus.

When I visit jeep there is $500 Bonus cash, $500 college student and $500 military. I've been watching their site as there is an exact 2014 matched vehicle at a dealership close by, but I'm pushing for all the rebates I can get. I've never seen the $1500 diesel rebate.

Well I have a mailing example in front of me, $1500 bonus for ecodiesel 2014s but the fine print indicates its not for the general public, probably for existing owners only ... it expires 30 Sept. I've seen $1500 on 2014 diesels routinely over the past month or so, however.
